Hello 4th Grade Families,
In November, your child will take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS). The dates will be November 6th, November 9th and 10th. This test is a nationally normed achievement test that measures a student’s level of skill, accomplishment, or knowledge in a specific area. This year, all students in Grade 4 will be taking the Iowa Test of Basic Skills in the areas of reading, math, science, and social studies. We will use these results to assist with educational planning and identification for future gifted services.
