Every year here at Fairfax we hold our annual One School, One Book event. We choose a book, which we keep as a secret until reveal day and then every family will receive a copy of the book to read nightly with your students. We decorate the nest (middle of the school) with the theme of the book and also have daily trivia contests on the chapter read from the previous night. At the end of the book we hold a Family Fun Night. This year it will be held off site (location will be revealed at a later date) and we are looking for monetary donations in hopes of keeping this event free for our students. Please see the attached flyer for more information! All donors will be recognized during the event, in our newsletter, and in school.
